Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These terms govern your use of Clksy (clksy.com), a service for building embeddable AI assistants trained on your own content. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Clksy lets you create AI assistants (“engines”), train them on content you provide, and embed them on websites. Building is free; publishing engines and serving live conversations requires an active subscription.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. One person or organization per account.

3. Your API keys and usage costs

Clksy runs on your own provider API keys (such as Anthropic for AI responses and ScreenshotOne for screenshots). This means:

  • Usage generated by your engines — including conversations from visitors on sites where you embed them — is billed directly to you by those providers, under their terms.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your keys valid, funded, and compliant with each provider’s policies.
  • Clksy stores your keys encrypted and uses them only to operate your engines. Default usage limits are applied to protect you from abuse, and you can adjust them per engine.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Pabbly. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then publishing and live conversations pause until you resubscribe. Your engines and content are not deleted when a subscription lapses.

5. Your content

Content you add to Clksy (knowledge sources, instructions, branding) remains yours. You grant us the limited right to store and process it solely to operate the service — for example, indexing it so your assistants can answer from it. You’re responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clksy to:

  • Break the law or infringe others’ rights;
  • Distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content;
  • Build assistants that impersonate people or mislead users into believing they are talking to a human;
  • Attempt to breach, overload, or abuse the service or other users’ engines;
  • Violate the usage policies of the AI providers whose keys you connect.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. AI-generated content

Assistant responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate despite your instructions and content. You’re responsible for how you and your visitors rely on those responses. Clksy is not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clksy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
